Frequently Asked
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption in Collooney. Please aim to arrive by 12:45 PM so you’re seated comfortably before we begin.
Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?
No — they’re two separate venues. The ceremony is at the Church of the Assumption in Collooney, and the reception, dinner and celebrations are at Markree Castle. The two are about a 15-minute drive apart, so you’ll travel between them after the ceremony.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is free parking at both the Church of the Assumption and at Markree Castle.
How will I get back to my hotel at the end of the night?
A late shuttle will run from Markree Castle back to the main hotels at the end of the night, so you can relax and enjoy the celebrations without worrying about the drive home.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely — children are very welcome to join us for the celebrations.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones are included only where your invitation names them. If you’re unsure who is included on your invite, just check your RSVP or get in touch.
Can I take photos?
We ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present — our photographer will capture those moments for us. Once the ceremony is over, please take as many photos as you like!
Are the venues accessible?
Both the Church of the Assumption and Markree Castle are wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific access requirements, please let us know and we’ll be happy to share more detail and help however we can.
What time will the day wrap up?
The celebrations will continue into the night, with the bar and music running until 2:00 AM.
What happens if it rains?
There’s no need to worry about the weather — should it rain, everything simply moves indoors at Markree Castle, and the day carries on exactly as planned.
